Our Story
The story of the Rialto in Grayling is a story of the movie industry itself. Owned and operated by the same family since 1915, it was the first in a circuit of movie houses owned by brothers George Olson and W. James Olson. The Rialto stands as one of the oldest family-owned theaters in the United States- same family and same location.
The Rialto has long been a favorite place to see the latest movies, and we are grateful for 107 years of support from our community and many loyal customers.
Although steeped in tradition, the Rialto offers everything the modern movie fan could want. The theater offers luxurious rocking chair seating, and the latest in high-quality digital projection and sound. Film fans can always count on the latest Hollywood first-run blockbusters.
